The Wandle above Goats Bridge today. Plenty of water and abundance of good weed growth. Fish not showing but lovely few hours by and in the river

A very wet and dark April day on the Test below Testwood Pool with a high tide but, no salmon cooperating.
Just could not resist this in local charity shop. Perfect paper weight to remind me to fish. As if I need a reminder

The glorious Little River (Test) at Nursling on a sunny afternoon this week. Minimal mayfly hatch but expect within one or two weeks will be full blown. After the snow and poor wet Spring everything seems to be a few week late.
East Molesey fish-pass to the right but Bill Heron ready on the left. Still lots of water but clearing.
Opening day 2018 at Testwood. Not for the faint-hearted. Very high tides but the salmon decided not to venture out.
