Religious groups and even some assisted suicide activists will cover up the fact that you can painlessly end your life at home without the use of firearms or chemicals that are hard to aquire. Search hard enough and you will discover that there are always peaceful ways to leave.
Belgium has already understood that there's no logic behind putting up euthanasia restrictions for people with mental illnesses. When someone wants to peacefully end their lives should be up to themselves.
Those that really want to die will find a way to do so, assisted suicide is about giving them the option of eternal sleep either in their own home or where they desire. No gun, no train, no guts, no brains. Just peace.
The pro life movement should be called The pro suffering movement. They're essentially trying to stop everyone from gaining access to a peaceful death. But they are failing miserably and it's only getting worse for them. Over 80% of the western world supports assisted suicide.
There is no valid reason to set up restrictions for assisted suicide. Only those that truly want to die and are in a situation where they can't possibly imagine getting better will follow trough with it. Anyone that wants to go, should be allowed to do so peacefully.

Vi er ikke som USA som tjener store summer på folk sine lidelser så hvorfor skal vi absolutt følge i sporene deres når det kommer til å holde lidende folk i live mot deres egen vilje? Alle fortjener en verdig død om de mener livet sitt virkelig er så ille.

Arranging an assisted death overseas is extremely difficult and time consuming. For many people this means that instead of spending quality time with their loved ones, their final months are spent chasing paperwork. Dying people should have choice.
