This is not a serious government.
NEW - The Ford government has awarded the feasibility study for its 401 tunnel proposal to Canadian company WSP Canada Inc., for $9.1 million dollars.
Ontario has the ability to lead on building new homes but it chooses not to. @fordnation prefers slogans instead of actual action. Ontario is failing my generation and those younger than me.
Doug Ford’s Fall Economic Statement today shows his economic strategy has failed. No relief for rising costs, no plan for healthcare, no hope for the next generation. Life is getting harder, families are falling behind, and this government has no plan to help. Colleges and…
I am concerned about the number of serious robberies and gun crimes being committed in Durham Region by youth as young as 12. We must do everything possible to address the root causes of crime, including creating more economic opportunities and providing social support. I…
“The LCBO's secrecy stands in contrast to provincial liquor authorities in Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, where details about the fate of their U.S. liquor stockpiles have been released to the public.”
There is way too much secrecy around how the province is interfering with operations at the LCBO. Where is all of that alcohol and when does it expire? How much money is sitting there in inventory?
This is laughable. Apparently because of “cabinet confidence” the LCBO can’t disclose the $79 million worth of US alcohol it has in storage. cbc.ca/news/canada/on…
Today, I delivered my Members’ Statement at Queens Park, recognizing the Town of Ajax’s proud military history, as we approach Remembrance Day. Last Friday, we launched the Legion’s Poppy Campaign and raised the poppy flag at both Ajax Town Hall and Durham Regional…

Had a great time in the Bay of Quinte yesterday. Thanks to Belleville Councillors @SeanKelly97, Kathryn Brown and Barbara Enright-Miller for a thoughtful discussion about local economic development and their honest insights into the opportunities and challenges facing communities…
It’s always “Let’s go @BlueJays!” to me. Thank you to our boys in blue for a dream of a season and I couldn’t be more proud to cheer you on tonight. 🍻
Let’s go @BlueJays tonight for Game 7! Great to see MP Chris Mallette and Councillor @SeanKelly97 in @BellevilleON!

Today, #AjaxCouncil and the @AjaxLegion came together to raise the poppy flag in honour and remembrance of those who served. #LestWeForget
On Wednesday, I opposed the government’s rush to remove speed cameras just days before Halloween. Yesterday, they passed the bill. This decision means police officers will have less time to focus on serious issues, and it will increase pressure on property taxes as…
Support for children with autism is getting worse & worse. The longer it takes to access services, the higher the costs will be down the road & we will have let down a generation of children and their families. Time for @fordnation to fix this & get kids the support they need!
Figures obtained by the Ontario Autism Coalition through an FOI show that more than 84,000 children are registered in the Ontario Autism Program to seek autism services and 19,600 of them are receiving funding to access core services. #onpoli globalnews.ca/news/11502066/…
📚 Yesterday at the Legislature, I spoke on Bill 33, the Supporting Children and Students Act, 2025. Although the name sounds good, this bill doesn’t do what it claims to. The government’s plan to centralize power in the Minister of Education’s office in Toronto is a recipe for…
Ontario can’t continue to fall behind. On Monday, I introduced the Ontario Artificial Intelligence Talent and Innovation Strategy Act, a plan to ensure our province can get ahead and be competitive in a world being transformed by AI and technology. Either we can shape the future…
We gave Doug Ford a second chance to help fans afford tickets, not just now but into the future. He said no. Again. He’s still batting for speculators, not the little guy. #onpoli
Doug Ford made it easier for scalpers and corporations to gouge fans and harder for families to enjoy a night out. You shouldn’t have to choose between making core memories and making ends meet. We’re fighting to bring fairness back for fans and families. #onpoli
