A very very sad for Eurovision fans. Inevitable, but incredibly disappointing. I can’t put into the characters of a tweet how upsetting it is to see the contest I’ve watched for 21 years mismanaged quite this badly. We always “love wins” but today hate, war and violence did.
Chuckling about people saying “you won’t be laughing about Israel being removed from the contest when the UK pull up”. TRUST AND BELIEVE, I am not a fan of Eurovision because of the contributions of the United Kingdom. More often than not they provide embarrassment. I’M GOOD.

KEEP 👏🏼 IT 👏🏼 COMING 👏🏼 This is the only thing that will make any difference. No empty promises of “we might”, it’s countries departing that forced EBU’s hand with Russia and it’ll be the only thing to force their hand on Israel also.
🇮🇪 In an official statement, Irish broadcaster RTÉ states that “Ireland will not take part in the 2026 #Eurovision Song Contest if the participation of Israel goes ahead.” A final decision on Ireland’s participation will be made after the EBU’s decision on Israel.
