My 5th and final (for now) book recommendation for #creatives is about ethics. #ConsciousCreativeBook by @kelly_small is a fantastic reminder of our duty and, more importantly, the opportunity we have to effect change.
Ok, my fourth #bookrecommendation for #creatives is cheating a little bit - this suggestion isn’t a single book. It’s about being inspired and learning, no matter what you’re consuming. Experience the creative process through other’s eyes & learn from everything.
“Rethink” is definitely where our minds need to be these days. My third book recommendation for creatives is #Rethink the Business of Creativity by @iangrais & @tomshepansky. Beautiful and engaging, this is one I highly recommend for your library. Shout out to their team!
My 2nd book rec for #designers, #marketer & #creatives is #StealLikeanArtist by @austinkleon. Our industry is about visual communications. It needs to be rooted in the familiar for an audience to engage. Just don’t steal a copy, buy your own, then go & “steal like an artist”.
