Some argue that JKR's position on Scottish Indy is 'perfectly respectable', or words to that effect. Our position is no nation would think it ok that someone moved to it & then bunged £1m to help keep that nation under the political hegemony of the nation they came to it from.

The british can't be allowed to reimagine history. JK Rowling, despite being on the correct side of the reality debate, still sees Scotland as an extension of England. She's an old school settler, and it's sad that she can't bring herself to respect Scots that want democracy.

We saw Alex Salmond a few weeks ago and had a wee gab. He was on fine form, as usual. Alex did more for the cause of Scottish independence than any other, by demonstrating excellent governance and securing our 2014 indyref. He'll always be the titan of our movement. RIP Alex 💙

I would caution those who think today will dim our spirits. I assure you it will not. He wouldn’t want it to and we wouldn’t shame his memory by allowing it. We will carry his legacy on and see his dream realised in his stead
