Did Rembrandt Really Live In Hull? It’s a rumour that’s been spread by historians (and even a certain art gallery) for many years, but our Urban Mythbuster @AmyLTommo and City Archivist Martin Taylor get to the truth in @Hullhistorynews Supplementals: shorturl.at/1KPUa

Early 1918 my grandfather shot in head during a German attack. His comrades, falling back in disarray, tied him to a mule. He drifted in and out of consciousness, the mule avoided gunfire all day finally trotting into a field ambulance post. He owed his life to that unknown mule.

After a pictorial feast in the Gallerie D'Italia I was hungry. When in Naples you have got to have a pizza and wash it down with something red. Love roaming the back streets of Naples.

In the Gallerie D'Italia in Naples. Caravaggio's 'Martyrdom of St Ursula' and Artemisia Gentilesci's 'Samson and Delilah' side by side. They could certainly paint. Andy Warhol exhibition and one devoted to the Hamiltons and Nelson can also be seen at the moment.
