My phone was blowing up all day because people who installed a competitors product had an outage. That's the strange thing about Windows, if we let a 3rd party do something, it's our fault and if we don't let them do something, we are being anticompetitive. No winning
Absolutely insane the number of people calling this a "Microsoft outage". Yes, I know Windows isn't perfect (I worked on the system responsible for analyzing the crashes, after all), but short of getting rid of kernel drivers, it doesn't seem like much blame is on Windows.

Six years ago I had just released Vicious Attack Llama Apocalypse, living in South Africa. Fast forward to today and I've been working on SoT for 75% of its life and living in the UK. Still blows my mind that I get to work with all these amazing people on a AAA.
Here's to six years of Sea of Thieves! Even after 2192 days of seeing you sail the seas, we're still surprised, entertained and inspired by your stories and creativity every day. So thank you, pirates, for sharing this adventure with us, and here's to many years ahead. Cheers! 🍻

This is bad advice, don't do this.
If you're NEW to indie dev, don't make "small games". Have a clear vision and make a proper "big" game. Start small, work incrementally and think LONG TERM. Add one thing at a time. You'll keep learning and also have a goal to stay focused on. #gamedev #indiegamedev
