There were six months between Brexit vote & Trump’s election in 2016. I watched to see if US economic nationalist would change UK public opinion. It didn’t. Why ? Because Brexit & Trumpismo are similar: manipulation of aggrieved voters by rich men for their own benefit
The US election has exposed the foolishness of Brexit isolation for the UK and our inability to make the moral case at a political level for rejoining has to be challenged urgently .
