An Online Role Player's Guide to OC Creation and the Art of the Storyline

I should go on my RP rants here where it could be helpful instead of on my RP accounts themselves...

They could very well be staying true to the character they are playing. When in doubt, hit them on the side with a little OoC chat to clarify.

An angry or irritated character doesn't necessarily mean the writer feel the same way.

Some role players use quotes to show when their character is talking. If it's in quotes take it with a grain of salt.

THAT SAID try not to forget what SLs you have going if you can avoid it. Nothing worse than seeing them reply to others and then send you --

Sometimes people are busy or are lacking the proper muse so don't go harassing them asking for a reply ETA.

If your partner doesn't reply right away it doesn't necessarily mean they want to kill your SL. We all have lives offline.

Hey. Don't be a dick. Your character can be a dick but that apple should fall VERY far from the metaphorical tree.

Respect your RP partner. They're here to socialize with others like you are, you can't just lock them down.

//If you are friends with someone that means you want them to be happy, friends are not toys you keep in box & no one else gets to play with

Can do!

// Nah, anything is fine. I guess lewd RPs or creating your own verse or plotness?

Feel free to share my name around to others you think may need a little help :)

Little cluster of new followers, thanks to each and every one of you!

I'm going to be very active on this account again.

Questions or looking for advice? I've got plenty to offer.

Back from hiatus. After logging into all my accounts, I nearly forgot about this one.

Continue writing, creating, and having fun with those you meet. And remember the number one rule of RP: Don't be a dick. :)

Thank you all for the follows, the favorites, and the retweets. I have to leave twitter due to personal matters but I hope to return.

Lacking a clarity in vision will always make RP more challenging. Know what you want out of your character and pursue it.

Writer blocks and losing your muse happens. But more often than not it returns. It's better to wait for your muse than to force it.
