On Friday, at @NNA_CCJ we had the honour of accepting a special recognition citation. This citation was created as a part of an effort to honour journalism that doesn't fit neatly into the NNA's existing 23 categories but had an exceptional impact on the news industry.

Application deadline for our 2025 program is May 4th. Please spread the word. In the program Mentors will share their experiences and knowledge along with constructive critiques. Mentees will also be active participants, identifying learning goals, & contributing to discussions.
So far we count ten Canadian photographers (or hired by Canadian publishers) at the Olympics. 3 are women. One of the women is indigenous. Help us change these numbers for the next Olympics by creating opportunities and mentorship. Our country is made greater by diverse voices.
