The best possible outcome is the one that truth produces.
What if you reframed fears and anxieties about the future with the mantra: “all evidence suggests that I will be able to successfully navigate whatever comes up” What would this shift change for you?
As humans, we have two fundamental needs; authenticity and acceptance. It’s important to ask where we have sacrificed one for the other. The goal is to seek places and people where I can experience both.
One of the greatest things we can offer is the wisdom we have gained from difficulty and adversity. This is the path to suffering not in vain but with purpose. Be the teacher you wish you had
What are the areas in your life you are feeling disempowered and disengaged in. What would it take for you to breathe life into those spaces? It just takes saying, “yes…”
We put so much emphasis on how we will and are being perceived. Our fear of negative perception becomes a prison, the limits of our growth and courage.
“How beautifully ironic. Without boundaries, there can be no unity.” - Jeff Brown Without boundaries we become enmeshed, I don’t know where I end and you begin. Boundaries allow to wholes to become unified, so neither is lacking anything with or without the other 🖤
“No is a complete sentence” - Anne Lamott Boundaries mean I don’t have to provide a justification or rationalization. I can say no with confidence and decide there is no deliberation 🖤
Building self-trust is the way to overcome self-doubt. If I consistently show up for myself and follow through on what I commit to doing or not doing, I will learn that I am trustworthy and self-doubt decreases. Follow through and consistency are key.

If you’re feeling a bit out of control or directionless. Create and commit to a routine for the next thirty days. It doesn’t have to be big or complex, just a few things you commit to everyday. Morning, afternoon, before bed.

Anything worth doing in our life takes risk. We have to take the step, even without knowing the outcome. Trust. Each step we take in risk, the next step of the path will be illuminated. Thus…we have to step out in risk for the next step to be revealed.
Failure is like salt: use too much and you’ll ruin the flavor; leave it out and the recipe will taste bland. - Donald Miller, Author
True and lasting change starts with desire. If my desire to change something in my life is strong enough, I will find a way. Desire is the birthplace of change. Ambivalence keeps us stuck.
Perfectionism says “vulnerability is a threat”. Self-Acceptance says “vulnerability is the bridge to connection”.
Just start the thing. Step out and step into the vision you have for your life. We will not achieve great or meaningful things if we stay within the confines of our comfort zone. Growth and progress require risk and vulnerability. You got this!
If I cannot tolerate imperfection within myself, I will hold others to the the same unattainable expectation of perfection. Holding space for my own imperfections allows me to hold space for the humanness in others.
Radical acceptance is a challenge for those of us living with trauma. To us, control feels like safety. If I can control the things around me, life is predictable, I won’t be blindsided by harm. Radical acceptance feels like a free-fall into the unknown.
