Workington Derwent Rotary Club, on behalf of all the Rotary Clubs in Cumbria would like to thank everyone for their donations and all the supporters without whom this would not have been possible. In particular thanks to WEC for the sorting facilities and Wrap up Lancashire

Workington Derwent Rotary with other Rotary Clubs did Wrap up Cumbria. We collected lots of unwanted coats, sorted in our unit on Peart Road. We are working with local charities to get them to the right people in Cumbria, see facebook Please share widely Rod

This was an excellent event with lots of opportunity to share best practice and exchange ideas.

We were delighted to provide a room and refreshments for @CumbriaCVS workshop on #trustee #recruitment today. We know @DianneCumbria was making notes on what else we can do to support these organisations who provide support to our community every day.

News from #Giro🇮🇹 After his crash yesterday, @tom_dumoulin will start stage 5 today. He has been cleared to race by the team's medical staff, but still suffering with his knee. He will give it his best shot and see what the day brings 💪🏼🤞🏼

This week is Mental Health Awareness Week. It can be a daunting subject to think and talk about. If you are worried about a friend or colleague, why not take some time to ask how they are? It's good to talk. #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek

It's been an absolute pleasure to work with Mind in West Cumbria over the last year as our nominated Charity of the Year. This week we met with Dr Brian Campbell, Chairman of Mind in West Cumbria, who told us how much we have helped them over the last year.
