Qole Hashmat Khan wetland in #Kabul is refilling again as Logar River is flowing after long dry period. This important wetland not only recharges groundwater in Kabul but it is also habitat for over 190 bird species. 👇animation shows refilling of the wetland in recent weeks.
Qole-Hashmat Khan wetland in #Kabul has recieved significant amount of water from Logar River during the past 2 months as shown in the below animation. If the water inflow is ensured throughout the summer, there is good chance for revival this important habitat.
