Hong Kong here I am! There's a big question on my mind already, what's better, the Hong Kong MTR or the Singapore MRT? HK doing a fine job from the outset with a 130 km/h trip on the airport rapid line with lovely padded seats and a 25 minute connection to central Hong Kong 🚇🇭🇰

English is also an imported tongue if you go back that logic. So English ok, Mandarin not ok? Also a lot of Malay words borrow heavily from other languages like Sanskrit, Tamil, Chinese (surprise surprise), Portuguese and Dutch

I drove across to Shenzen from Hong Kong in 2019. Crossing the border reminded me of crossing from West into East Germany during the cold war. Not sure it belongs on the list of op 5 cities for the future...
