I visited Montpelier's Mere Distinction of Colour exhibit (montpelier.org/visit/mere-dis…) and am looking through Teaching Tolerance's resources (tolerance.org/frameworks/tea…). Both very useful frames for helping students think critically about enslavement in the US and its enduring legacy
