Hey ON pharmacists it’s that time to pony up $951.63 for you ANNUAL licensure. Hey did you know that in some states in the US, it’s only $150.00 EVERY 2 YEARS!!! Hey did you also know that since 2017 it has gone up by 40%!

🇺🇸 rphs and techs earn almost twice as much as their 🇨🇦 counterparts. Yet 🇨🇦 pay a much higher fee for our license. Michigan Dept of Health: rph $75.60, tech $64.80/2 yrs Ontario College of Pharmacists @OCPInfo rph $951.63, tech $634.44/yr

Do you support the 6.7% fee increase from @OCPInfo ?

OCP hiding Valid questions regarding our profession. We are paying members of this college. Censoring us about real concerns are not controversial

The 2023 annual registrant renewal is now open. With the exception of students, interns and registrants holding an Emergency Assignment certificate of registration, all pharmacists & pharmacy technicians must complete this year’s annual renewal by March 10 bit.ly/3iLmKGx

For reference, in Michigan, our neighbouring state, rph pays $75.60 and tech pays $64.80 every 2 years (no additional adjustment for inflation). In ON, rph & tech now owe $951.63 and $634.44/year, respectively. I ask you, please think of us too, nobody is adjusting for our "CPI"

If you've ever worked at a busy community #pharmacy, you know how stressful it can be. If you haven't picture this...1/6

The fees are increasing by 6.7% according to you, linked by the CPI. However the Average pharmacy technician makes $30/hr, has not seen a raise in nearly a decade and our cost of living increase was only 1%. We are losing money yearly. Advocate for us!
