Was fantastic working with the young people in #EastSideStory while they were @WoodrowHH. Its great to see the whole story finished now, and what they have done.
No mention of one of the biggest consequences to delays in diagnosis - a deterioration in the person’s mental health. So many autistic adults (and kids) end up with mental health difficulties due to lack of understanding and support. #AreYouAutistic
I hope employers will now create more opportunities for #autistic people after watching #AreYouAutistic small reasonable adjustments can make a big difference . They just want the same as everyone else a good education, a job, make friends etc #autism
