Our club consists of 30 dragon boat teams, both recreational and competitive. We paddle out of Mother's Beach in Long Beach, southern California.
Congratulations to these SCDBC teams - Southbreeze, Rising Tide, Rebelles (plus Adaptive Fusion not pictured) who paddled/medaled at Club Crew National Championships in Sarasota, Florida this weekend - way to represent!
The 2021 Long Beach Dragon Boat Festival will NOT be happening this year. Possible local event later in the year. Stay safe and healthy!
SCDBC- still unable to practice safely @ Mother's Beach. Will have to wait til Phase 4 of allowed re-openings. Refunds - unsure at this time how this will be handled. Will let teams know once we have more info about practice start-up. Thank you for your patience/stay healthy!
Long Beach Dragon Boat Festival rescheduled to late Oct/Nov. Awaiting date confirmation. Also practice suspension Mother's Beach extended to May 15th. Will reassess starting practices up then. Til then #stayhealthyathome #socialdistance #coveryourface (wear your #facemask).-M
