We have been conducting important research this afternoon for Enterprise Week - this year we are starting our own pizzeria.😋🍕 We came up with a huge mindmap of all the things we need to consider to start our business. I was really impressed with their ideas! 🎉👍🏻
We worked in table groups to revise our SpaG knowledge through a quiz!
This afternoon, we were set the Mars Rover Challenge. After learning all about Curiosity, the Mars Rover, we had to design our own that could survive and function on Mars. 🚀🛸🛰
We invited a special guest to our class today from @SCOS_Teresa. These siblings wrote poems about one another and we loved hearing them! They both performed beautifully and wrote two wonderful poems! 😌
This afternoon we were in the ICT suite writing a newspaper report about our woodland area and the importance of protecting it.
We went outside and became leaf detectives this morning. 🕵️♂️🕵️♀️ We sketched our leaves and then use a leaf identification sheet to see what we’d found.
The class had a blind vote and choose this model as the best within the class.☺️🌟🌟
Today we took part in the ‘Brilliant Birds’ competition. In pairs, they had one hour and 3 pieces of paper that they used to make a 3D model. 😃🐧
Yesterday, we started Science Week with the ‘Make it fly’ investigation. The children made a helicopter, a paper aeroplane and their own creation. They had to find out which modelled stayed in the air the longest. #windyday #papereverywhere

We had some fantastic costumes for World Book Day! We’ve had a lovely day designing and writing our own book as well as taking part in the legendary annual catwalk! 😄📚

Our new Science topic is Earth & Space. To begin, we looked at 10 key events in space exploration and had to put them in chronological order. We also worked with our table to design a poster about what we'd learnt.
