McSwain’s Family STEM Night showcased our school-wide solar system project!
In art class, 5th grade has started their design and build of the surface of Mars. Information from Mars research (library classes) is being used in the classrooms to compare to science SOLs: Earth Patterns, Cyles & Change and Interrelationships in Earth/Space System.
McSwain’s school-wide solar system project is in full swing! Stay tuned for frequent updates as it evolves! The adventure started by blasting off into space through virtual reality!
5th grade begins our MekaMon unit by learning about its basic movements through code. Next, they will compare the Earth’s surface to Mars. In art they will build a large replica of the surface of Mars to be used for MekaMon’s missions on Mars
5th grade wraps up their drone/pollination unit in technology class! Great work!!!
