The Wheel of Fate has decided another #SDCC for us all. If you didn't get lucky, please consider another con like ECCC, NYCC, DragonCon, FanEx, C2E2. etc. If you did get lucky - prepare yourself for the real combat that is the hotel sale. I'll post on it in a few days.
Based on my year-over-year assessment.... I think #SDCC just isn't as in demand as it used to be. Still more interest than it can meet, still badge sale disappointments. But it's not the inferno it used to be.
Do you prefer the fast-paced or slow-paced #SDCC sales? Are the slower ones more torturous or do they give your hope a longer lifespan?
I'll say what I always say: if the badge sale gets to the Thursday-Sunday stage, #SDCC is still worth it. #comiccon
The #SDCC Open Reg sale seems to be moving more slowly.... so don't lose hope. You probably still have a decent shot.
Please remember the Preview Night option is on the menu bar. If someone already has 4 days, that's how you handle them. Some people are assuming they can't buy for 4-dayers. They can. #SDCC #comiccon
Amazing how nervous you can get over #SDCC Open Reg even when you already have a badge. Sometimes I wonder if ex-attendees still get ghost anxiety on random autumn Saturdays. #comiccon
Before we begin.... remember that there are other great cons. If you don't get a badge today, consider #NYCC for instance. Still magnificent but so much easier when it comes to tickets and hotels.
If you landed in the "all 4 days but no PN" during #SDCC Open Reg, there's an option just for you - “Buy Preview Night” from the top menu. And you can still go back and buy other badges for your friends. #comiccon
Good luck today, #SDCC questers. I'm not sure how competitive today will be (beyond the obvious baseline) - I'm guessing it will be smoother and a little easier than years past. But there will still be those who walk away with nothing. #comiccon

Remember that you can log into your Member ID account and pay for yourself even if someone else bought your #SDCC badge.
I hear people griping about the slow pace of the sale, but I've seen fewer glitches this year. I'll take it. #SDCC
