"There will be no RAAC pot of money from the Scottish Government" The Cabinet Secretary for Housing set out @scotsgov ‘s position on financial support for buildings with RAAC.
Members pushed the Cabinet Secretary on @scotgov's affordable homes target and whether the promised 110,000 homes will be built by 2032 as planned. Màiri McAllan said the target would not be reviewed and she's worked hard to secure significant financial backing for housing.
The Heat in Buildings Bill will be one of the "biggest and most important pieces of legislation in devolution" Cab Sec Màiri McAllan told the Committee that the Bill would still be laid before Parliament.

The First Minister told MSPs he expects multi-year funding to be awarded to Scotland’s Councils in the next Budget. Convener @ArianeBurgessHI questioned John Swinney on local government funding at a Q&A for Committee leaders.
EPC reform is welcomed but will be more challenging for rural buildings. Bryan Leask of Rural and Islands Housing Association Forum told the Committee differences in property type and costs were barriers.
The Scottish Association of Landlords described timescales of proposed regulations on EPCs as “too ambitious”. Its Chief Executive John Blackwood was part of a panel giving evidence on expected reform of Energy Performance Certificates 📺⬇️
Reform of Energy Performance Certificates was essential – but people can’t be “plunged into fuel poverty” due to any changes, the Committee heard this week. Andy Parkin, of @ElmhurstEnergy, was giving evidence as MSPs scrutinise expected changes to the EPC rating system.
