#sqlhelp 3 of 3 - if I include port # 1433 (or explicit dynamic port) to listener connection string I can connect remotely - thoughts ? Firewall is off
2 of 3 - #sqlhelp I can connect to all 4 instances from each vm no issues... no ports specified so browser seems to being doing its job.... however if I connect to listener\instance if running on vm1 I can connect while on vm1 but not remotely on vm2 (and the reverse)
1 of 2 - #sqlhelp seeing a weird connectivity issue. Have a 2 vm (win2016) avail group.. each has 2 instances...so vm1\a vm1\b and vm2\a vm2\b - both a instances make up ag-a and ag-b. Endpoints are 5022 and 5023... all named instances are dynamic ports...listeners are both 1433

#sqlhelp I’m looking at the errorlog within sql on Linux... ssms is not giving me the configure option... recycled the service until I hit 110 logs... google is not helping.. do I need to Manually clean up logs in Linux ? Thxs
