We had a great time on our trip to Skipton Castle last week. The castle is over 900 years old. It is one of the most complete and best preserved castles in England. @stpatsrochdale @STOC_CAT
The children had a great time exploring clay with their hands and some tools. They have flattened the clay, made a ball and others shapes of their choice. @stpatsrochdale @STOC_CAT
Thank you to all the parents that attended our parents afternoon. We had a great time making a chair for baby bear. We tested different shapes for stability and together we identified that a cylinder would work best for the chairs legs. @stpatsrochdale @STOC_CAT
The King has been very busy this weekend writing a letter back to our children. We have been very excited to learn all about the coronation. @stpatsrochdale @STOC_CAT

We had a great afternoon experimenting with ice and salt. We learnt that ice melted fastest when we used salt. @stpatsrochdale @STOC_CAT
The children were really surprised today when a bag full of items was left in our classroom After some investigation we discovered that the bag belonged to an astronaut called Bob We put some questions together that we would like to ask Bob @stpatsrochdale @STOC_CAT
We have explored different issues which could occur on our farm and planned some ideas on how to overcome them @stpatsrochdale @STOC_CAT
In maths we have been learning to divide. The children have been working together and solving math equations using equipment @stpatsrochdale @STOC_CAT
This week in science we have been learning about fruits. The children have had a great time discussing their opinions about how seeds are dispersed @STOC_CAT @stpatsrochdale
We have had a great time this week learning about the UK and exploring the different “National Dishes” from all four countries😋 @stpatsrochdale @STOC_CAT
We have had a very special visitor this morning - Father Christmas! He came into our class and gave us some presents! He even knew some of the children’s names😲😲 Thank you!!! @stpatsrochdale @STOC_CAT
Yesterday we had such a great time eating our yummy Christmas dinner. We even had crackers to pull! 🎄🤶🎅 @stpatsrochdale @STOC_CAT
The nativity performances are officially completed! A big thank you to the boys and girls who turned up last night to perform the Nativity one last time. Everyone has worked very hard and we put on a fabulous show! 🐑⭐️🤴🏽👼🏼 @stpatsrochdale @STOC_CAT
