From the picture to the end of the headline is a complete journey from genuine interest to the utter lack thereof.
Yes all the survivors of lightsaber stabbings are dumb, though if Sabine's hadn't followed what we saw in Obi Wan we wouldn't be talking about it nearly so much. But just for a little devil's advocate fun: why do we think we know the vital organ placement of extragalactic aliens?
Also interesting that SNW name drops Korby, which doesn't fix continuity. In TOS, Chapel was engaged to Korby and then had an unrequited crush on Spock. In SNW she's had a relationship with Spock before she meets Korby. You can't get to unretconned TOS continuity from here.
Interesting that the "previously on" for SNW shows STD Klingons while the episode shows TMP+ Klingons (even though we should be looking at TOS Klingons). Are we supposed to pretend that STD Klingons were the same? At least seems like it's worth a character comment, a la DS9.
Another one for the "Batman never kills" folks. Original creator's canon straight from Bob Kane - second issue with Batman (Detective 28), second villain tossed off a roof. Third villain dead after encountering Batman.
Subspace Rhapsody serves the same purpose in SNW that The Naked Time/The Naked Now did in TOS/TNG. It's forced character exposition through a silly mechanism, previously a virus that simulated intoxication, now a technobabble macguffin that compels song. Also dance. Apparently.🤡
Lots of folks misreading TWOK vis a vis SNW - it's not contradictory for Kirk to know about David, nor is his talk about a relationship contradictory, though clearly it would be ending soon. But the timeframe for Carol to be pregnant does seem a few years too early.
I suppose this scenario is when I start praising Disney Star Wars, especially The Last Jedi.
I feel like there's just no way trying to cross-over live action and 2D animation doesn't fall flat.
So I guess the TNG-style bar closed before TOS started? 🙄 #primecanon
Also never mind that the TOS reference where Kirk says he met Pike "when he was promoted to Fleet Captain," was a reference not to a temporary mission, but to an actual promotion, post Enterprise, that took Pike a step closer to his ultimate fate.
Funny to see how proud SNW fans are that they used the detail that Kirk met Pike when he was Fleet Captain. Never mind the fact that for every detail they get right, there's ten or more where they've utterly contradicted canon. Because this one proves how much they respect TOS!
This is nonsense. It's not that Uhura hadn't seen T'Pring, it's that neither she nor Chapel knew she existed, or that Spock had an arranged marriage, as is evident from what we see in Amok Time.

Strange New Worlds treats Vulcans like sitcom characters. Expectations to subvert, characteristics to over- or under-play, people with specific quirks instead of a proud and significantly alien culture.
Seems like there might be more choices available ...
In the "more than one thing can be true" category: the entertainment industry definitely needs to figure out the impact of streaming, AI and more on all affected. Also, a union that can shut down an entire industry is not necessarily a good thing.
