24 Truck operated at an apartment fire this morning at the Hempfield Heights apt’s in Hempfield Twp. The Truck arrived 1st due along with Greensburg 6. Truck crew performed the interior truck company duties, The Eng. crew stretched the suppression line off of Truck 24 as well

Last night members of the Department as well as members of the South Greensburg Fire Department traveled to Smithton to get in some live fire work at the County Public Safety Training Center.
This morning, Members of the Department with Truck 24, as well as our Brothers from Rostraver Central, participated in the annual Hutchinson Elementary School Veteran’s program. The school does an excellent job honoring our Veterans with our children.
Crews operated at the Knights Inn in the Borough overnight for a motel room fire. The fire was quickly contained to the unit, and extinguished fire that had extended in a crawl space under the floor.
24 Truck assisted South Greensburg last night on a house fire. The first alarm was activated last night just before midnight for an attic fire. The Truck arrived as the 2nd unit behind 32 Engine and went to work last the first due Truck Company. Crews were on scene for 2 hours
2 days of “Truck Chauf” training put on by Task Force 1 instructors with Greensburg Fire Department. 2 days of learning new techniques and practicing old skills.

Congratulations to FF Josh DiCriscio and FF Brian Cunningham who received notification that they have successfully completed the Driver/Operator Pumper professional certification process. This is a requirement of all of our members before being able to drive/operate a rig.
