Regardless of our figureheads, we know who are REAL leaders are. Shout out to all the sex workers and activists who have been working tirelessly for the advancement of ALL PEOPLES. You the real ones.

Last night the historically white-led SWOP Seattle embarked on a series of crucial workshops for current & former sex workers called “Unlearning White Supremacy”. At the next workshop we will be discussing this document: racialequitytools.org/resourcefiles/… Info: Email [email protected]

For some reason, there’s an uptick in folks suggesting the Nordic model to us. The answer is no. We don’t want the Nordic model. We want decriminalization. Period.

You know what else is intrinsically tied to SW labor rights? Disability rights. Legally disabled folks can be paid less than minimum wage. & if they marry they risk losing benefits that already don't cover all expenses. You know what doesnt underpay you for being disabled? SW

If you have a moment, please fill out this survey being conducted by a senior at Yale University: "I am hoping to provide evidence to support domestic policy changes. The survey is fully anonymous and available in English and Spanish." yalesurvey.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_eD…

Check out this resource, made by Stella and Butterfly (Asian and Migrant Sex Worker Network): "We hope this document can be useful to nourish your reflection on harm reduction and sex work, or to better understand how we view these concepts." chezstella.org/wp-content/upl…

Just a thought but its worth noting that human trafficking covers more than just Sex Trafficking. Labor exploitation is 60%+ of human trafficking. We have to address wage inequality & resource inaccesibility to get to the root of this issue as a whole.
