Today marks 4 weeks since I last took a SWR train. Despite being on lockdown, my mental health has massively improved. Goes to show just how bad commuting by train is for your health.

Under the #CoronavirusLockdown, annual season tickets holders are paying for travel they can’t use. We urge @MayorofLondon and @TfL to extend season tickets by 2 months or implement fairer refund rules so commuters are not left out-of-pocket if they cancel.

Is it possible to take a 'holiday' rather than cancel? So have ticket good to go when we can next travel but get credit for weeks (eg extend ticket expiry or not pay) when card hasn't been used.

Upon returning to Waterloo I expect to be able to board the 19.09 to Portsmouth Harbour. However the screens on the platform do not line up with the @nationalrailenq app and apparently won't be calling at Farnborough even though it was a scheduled stop. @SW_Help @transportgovuk

Since it's standing room only today, I've had a chance to read the "safety information that is displayed in all coaches". It says "if fire breaks out, walk calmly to the next carriage". What if the train is dangerously rammed, like this one? Where do we go? @swtrains_watch

Full, overcrowded and extremely warm on the 0716 from Farnborough main to WAT. shocking and disappointing yet again. Can someone remind me why I pay £400/month for this 'service'? Wonder if I'll be one to pass out today 🤔 @SW_Help @transportgovuk


I saw one person faint on the 0716 service from Farnborough to Waterloo. I assume more felt unwell too. It was dangerously overcrowded and warm onboard. And even with running a reduced service we arrived to WAT 16Mins late. @SWR_Customer #swrstrike @transportgovuk

Your services are DANGEROUSLY OVERCROWDED.. people will get hurt. Your operation of the franchise has been a disgrace from the start. Will happily crowdfund to support a private prosecution for corporate manslaughter when (not if) you kill people by your indifference to public.
