I’ve known I was called to priesthood since I was a child. It took me decades to answer that call, largely because I didn’t see anyone who looked like me in church leadership. It just didn’t seem to be a place where wounded healers were welcome - so very, very, white middle class…


I am disturbed by the approach taken by the ABC in the Lord’s today; as I am by the lack of awareness shown by those laughing along. This is not what taking responsibility looks like, nor what repentance looks like. I am deeply sorry to those retraumatised by these actions.


I don’t really use this platform anymore, but to whoever stuck their neck out to push for a quiet sensory room in @RMCHosp outpatients, thank you. It makes a huge difference to a tired mum and a wonderful teenager in chronic pain. #MakingADifference

I see there is now a 20m long survey where I can respond with what I think of the recommendations of the expensive, expert reports commissioned to tell us how to make the church safer. What does it matter what I think? We have commissioned independent, expert advise - follow it!
