Went from Highest big usage to highest guard usage in the country. Cant pick and roll all game if u cant pass out of it. The ball sticks and Bama move the ball and kept us honest.
Mitch Barnhart put us in this situation and the fans angry or not still wanted to back Pope because he is one of our own. I’m not saying fire him but I’m also not going to tell anyone to not say it. I want him to turn it around but truthfully in my heart he was never the guy.
I’d pay all of Oat’s child support and alimony if that got him to Lexington
Hate to admit it, but it appears Mark Pope is just completely out of his depth. Had unlimited resources and put together this abysmal roster of role players whose skillsets don’t fit together. Then, to follow up, he has done an awful job of managing it. Bad gameplans, subs, etc.
Why is Kam Williams rotting on the bench after an 8 three pointer game? What an awful display of coaching in this game.
Collin Chandler has reverted back to freshman year Collin. I knew the way he was shooting it was unsustainable, but the decision making has even regressed. Just can’t play more than 15 minutes a game right now.
I’m sorry but if you don’t think Bijan is the best RB in football you don’t know ball It’s not even close tbh.
This is eerily reminiscent of the Indiana game. Kentucky is playing particularly well but they're fighting and that's making all the difference.
My mother-in-law wants us to come over for dinner tonight I told my wife she'll be going for the two of us because I'm busy watching 2016 Tyler Ulis put in work against Texas A&M 30 PTS 10-17 FG 3-5 3FG 5 AST 🔥🔥
On Kentucky basketball and an unsolvable roster construction problem that belies the price tag, even at full health. For @basket_review, free to read. basketunderreview.com/the-kentucky-t…
I’m gonna be honest, even with JQ and Lowe, I don’t see how this team improves when our data-driven coach is making hockey lineup substitutions. What kind of data is in favor of these sub patterns?
That was one of the least entertaining high-profile matchups I've seen in a long time. North Carolina wasn't good, Kentucky was just worse.
Not even being a prisoner of the moment, it’s such a shame that this freshman class is loaded and we got who we did.
Mark Pope didn't recruit enough shooters for this Kentucky team. If he was going to compromise on the types of players that have traditionally really fit him, Pope needed surefire pros. He got neither, and this is the result.
Tell me if you're heard this before: Kentucky struggled to shoot three-ball. Just one made three tonight. The previous low under Mark Pope for Kentucky was 4 made threes. Kentucky is 0-7 under Mark Pope when making 6 or fewer threes. This can't be an issue going forward.
$22 million on a roster that could've easily been built for $13 million #BBN
This is a season from hell for Mark Pope and the Kentucky Wildcats. Just an inexcusable product, no matter the injury situation. Bad basketball team.
I know he’s highly productive, but I don’t see the long-term vision with JT Toppin
