Tom Walker rails against right wing populism by rattling off a list of lazy left wing populist tropes - and he doesn't have the self-awareness to realise he's the mirror image of the Reform voter he sneers at. When he does get near a point, he observes that Farage doesn't have…
I made the below claim -- that it is a disgrace if MUFC don't spend 400m this summer -- and promise to expand on it in the coming days. This is the first attempt. True or false? "Manchester United has not made a 'big important signing' since 2018." From my point of view, at…
There are rights, wrongs, opinions, beliefs, attitudes and what not. This is right, it’s a fact, it’s a complete disgrace if MUFC spends less than 400m during the summer of 2024. There should be protests if we don’t. I will back it up with facts the coming weeks.
There is no precedent for this in English football (which was not postponed in 1952) and the logic of the population having leisure activities cancelled while work continuing as normal is entirely inconsistent logic.
I’m told that the Premier League have now informed clubs all professional development games scheduled for tomorrow (PL2 etc) are off. Have also said clubs will get an update on weekend fixtures by noon tomorrow.
*deep breath* I know there’s a huge debate over ‘This is all the Glazers fault’ v ‘You can’t keep blaming the owners’ which was kinda Redknapp v Neville on Saturday night….. Let’s be clear: Joel Glazer isn’t responsible for David de Gea chucking the ball in his net…..
Who would you prefer to be the next #MUFC manager? Conte or Rodgers?

I’ve seen a very small number of people on here laughing at the outrage of the masses over the ESL. If you are, in any way, in favour of the proposals, you aren’t actually a football fan in my eyes. It’s not about money, it’s about the removal of competition. That isn’t sport.
Juventus are 4th in Serie A, Arsenal are closer to Crystal Palace than they are to securing top four, Tottenham are 7th and getting knocked out of Europe by a club whose manager is in prison...no wonder these clubs want to create their own Super League.
1/ Masks aren't the answer. Lockdowns aren't. School closures aren't. Travel bans aren't. The early Israeli data suggest vaccines won't be either. (Just as they aren't for the flu.) A year in, the choice is ever clearer: Live with the ro, or destroy ourselves trying to stop it.
The fact is that unless Israeli cases and hospitalizations crash within days, the decline will simply put the country on the path that countries with far fewer vaccinations (and softer lockdowns) have followed. Don’t expect the media to tell you this, though.
COVID lockdowns have no clear benefit vs other voluntary measures, international study shows newsweek.com/covid-lockdown…

If Ajax go out tonight then Ten Haag is available. Bring him in with Arne Slot as his assistant and you'll see incredible football at Old Trafford.
#MUFC have played 18 games this season in all competitions. They’ve gone behind in ten. From the ten they’ve gone behind in, they’ve won five, lost five.
