The Drag and Drop API is a PITA

Building a drag and drop system with vanilla JS is more tricky than I would have imagined. Beat my head against the wall for 8 hours yesterday. Time to do it again! #CantStopWontStop #CodingJourney

First @nash_js meetup tonight. First programmer meetup for me in general

I get a low-key thrill out of deleting extraneous code TBH

Good morning, devs. Let's get after it and build something cool. 💪😎

Who else is building this morning? 🙋‍♂️😎

Had a dream that my MacBook’s screen got cracked and the lid got bent up. Luckily, I had AppleCare. Seriously, I had this dream last night. Which means that Apple is now advertising to me in my dreams. I think it’s time to switch to Linux.

Dev reminds me of music in many ways, I think that’s why I’m so drawn to it. Build a big project behind-the-scenes for months (or years) on end before releasing it to the world and moving onto the next one. Just like making a record.

As a former musician, I’ve had 30+ different jobs to facilitate chasing the dream. I finally hung it up at 34-years-old and got into IT. I bounced around from help desk to sales before landing at dev. This is the way now and something I intend to perfect for the rest of my life.

100% behind this type of activity

New goal: shitpost until I'm paid to stop

My daily grind M-F for over a year. Already learned a ton and have a lot left to learn.

The fastest way to learn is to build something that doesn’t work… and fix it.

Good morning, who’s ready to grind today? 😎

It has been awhile since I’ve done a project that required DOM manipulation. Everything lately has been comp sci (BSTs, recursion, etc.) That said, just spent two or three hours struggling before I remembered to use data attributes 😁. They’re saving the day. #CodingJourney

Lmao

Afternoon session starts now! Any other learners crunching code this afternoon? What are you working on? #SoftwareDevelopment #programmingbeginners #CodingJourney

Doing some DOM manipulation today for the first time in a hot minute. This should be interesting 😅

Wrasslin' with webpack module imports today. Game rules and logic complete on Battleship project. On to the game controller and UI!
