One commit at a time, we're nearing our PoC! 🥳 - ✅ Base app scaffolded - ✅ Wallet standard registered - ✅ Database layer completed - ⏳ Account/wallet/cluster logic - ⏳ Integration of the above - ⏳ Sign and send first transaction Exciting times ahead 🥳

Hey there @eaabimbola, you can read the backstory here: x.com/beeman_nl/stat…. I decided on the name while working from Koh Samui airport, right after visiting @islanddao v2. I considered a few other names, but they all had a crypto wallet named after them. So Samui 🏝️ it is!
I think @SamuiBuild looks pretty cool alongside other wallets if you ask me. This is an example app using wallet-standard to load in the available wallets.
It is hard for my brain not to go in a million directions with ideas for our open source wallet @SamuiBuild with @beeman_nl 😀 Time to focus on shipping a MVP for @colosseum
We're grateful that @SteveCleanBrook onboarded us to the @triton_one infrastructure so we can build Samui Wallet without having to rely on public RPCs 🥳

I assume a lot of you test your apps with all of the 3 big wallets in the ecosystem but what is your main one? For me personally, during development it's @backpack: Why? - has a separate devnet cluster - it supports localnet - it has a sidebar How about you?

Gm, new beeman alpha just dropped. Can’t wait for this tbh, wallets tend to focus on features mainstream might want vs catering to the power users. Curious what a fully developer focused experience can look like. Accelerate 🫡
The decision to start this project was made last year at @islanddao in Koh Samui 🏝️ after discussing the need for an Open Source Solana wallet with ecosystem builders. I started but got distracted by web3js->kit migration, Wallet UI etc. 🤓 This time I'm back and locked in 🫡
