What we're going to have this year is: 1) A Mario Kart World DLC 2) A new 2D Mario 3) One Zelda remake and a new 2D Zelda 4) Fire Emblem remake something 5) Xenoblade remake something 6) What is already announced.
The next Nintendo Direct should set the tone for Switch 2 in 2026, but... 1) There will be multiple Directs in 2026 2) Nintendo has mostly stopped revealing games 2-3+ years away. 3) Directs aren't 100% new game announcements I always keep this in mind to set my expectations.
