STS does not run service on January 1 due to the New Year's holiday. We will resume normal operations on Friday, January 2. As a reminder, STS operates every day of the year except for Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. Find our schedules at sanduskytransit.com

🚌 Effective Oct 1, Sandusky Transit’s Dial-A-Ride hours will be 6 AM–6 PM, Mon–Sat. This focuses service during the busiest times, with more buses when demand is highest. Fixed-route & ADA paratransit hours stay the same. To schedule a ride, call 419-627-0740
On Sunday, July 20 from 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM, the Downtown Transit Hub will be temporarily relocated due to the IRONMAN 70.3 Ohio event. Buses will begin their routes on Franklin St. between Market St. & Warren St. Buses will be running modified routes during that time.
Our new @SanduskyTransit buses have arrived! 🚌 Earlier today, City Manager John Orzech and Transit Administrator James Stacey went out to the transit depot at the Amtrak Station to check out the 3 new STS buses that were delivered this week.
Erie County is now under a Level 2. Buses are still running, but certain routes are running behind schedule due to the road conditions. Please give yourself extra travel time.
STS fixed route and dial-a-ride service will not be operating on Wednesday, December 25, and Wednesday, January 1. We will be operating as normal on all other days. Happy Holidays! 🎄
Due to street closures for the car show, buses will be detoured and unable to serve the following stop: 🔴🔵🟢🟣 Water St. & Columbus Ave. This will be in effect all day Friday, September 6 & Saturday, September 7 until 8pm
ℹ️ Update- Hayes Ave has been reopened to traffic. Pierce Street is still closed between Central and Hayes.
Due to this road closure, STS is unable to service the Green Line stops at Pierce and Hayes. We will resume serve to those stops as soon as the street reopens.
🚧 Due to a crash that brought down power lines, Hayes Ave & Pierce St are currently closed. Hayes- between Rockwell and Buchanan Pierce- between Central and Thomas Access to Firelands Health South Campus will be maintained
Today the Red line is temporarily deviating due to construction on Water St. The stops we cannot access are : #2 Water and Franklin Harborview #3 Water and Perry Senior Center #27 Water and Perry Senior Center #28 Water and Franklin Harborview
Service Alert: Due to backed up traffic, the Purple Line 🟣 is having to deviate off of Camp St while heading northbound (toward downtown). The Amtrak Station & Camp/Buchanan stops are temporarily out of service.
STS is currently operating on a normal schedule. Riders should expect some delays as drivers are avoiding flooded streets and any streets with downed trees blocking access.
