Recently, while visiting the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science (IACS) in Kolkata, India, Dr. Rajesh Sardar was able to see the original Raman instrument that the Nobel laureate, Prof. C. V. Raman, constructed and used to discover the Raman effect!
