Interesting that the Inspector still has to ask for so much information on 'Duty to Cooperate' - TWBC knew other Local Plans had failed on this, so surely they should have adopted a belt and braces approach... tunbridgewells.gov.uk/__data/assets/…
It will be interesting to see whether TWBC has a ‘duty to cooperate’ ace up its sleeve on 29 March. tunbridgewells.gov.uk/__data/assets/…
Day 2 of the public Local Plan examination. It's certainly worth a listen . We hope that all the Cllrs that voted the draft plan through are now paying attention to what they voted for. tunbridgewells.gov.uk/planning/plann…
There is growing voter anger about the 17000+ acres of green space Kent could lose if developers are allowed to take the easy option to build on greenfield instead of brownfield Kent MPs beware! @GregClarkMP #savekentsgreenspaces bit.ly/3Guqgex

What if @TWellsCouncil took this idea onboard? Instead of destroying the boroughs valuable Greenbelt there are many brownfield opportunities in town crying out to be repurposed. bit.ly/3m2OsNz
So, @TWellsCouncil once again Facebook is flooded with images of flooding in Capel and Paddock Wood. Yet you think it's Ok that over 60% of housing in your Local Plan will be in this area. Even Government is starting to see this is a huge mistake
The @Savecapel reg19 response to TWBC 'Regulation 19' consultation can be viewed at bit.ly/3uWnZCD It’s sad that so many TWBC Cllrs approved such a flawed plan. If only they had taken a closer look and not simply succumbed to the planners scare tactics.

1/ TWBC Planning Policy Working Group is meeting next week. They aren’t exactly transparent in their decision making and don’t want you to know what is discussed as the notes of the meeting are not published. Capel residents can assume the future of their parish is on the agenda!
