Very sorry to hear. We must all renew with vigour our opposition to #SouthenWater dumping raw sewage into the sea. More housing development will inevitably lead to further discharges and it is time to resist such developments until sewage can be safely treated.
Unfortunately #HaylingIsland is in the press for the wrong reasons over polution by #SouthernWater of our #BlueFlag beaches and bathing areas. We must encourage politicians and Councils to insist @southernWater desist from poluting south coast beaches. dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1…

To @SouthernWater I believe that if your company focused more on maintaining and enhancing the infrastructure by being proactive, rather than being reactive, you would suffer fewer failures and could avoid dumping raw sewage into our harbours too.

Scammers are very active around the Christmas period. Please be very careful about any unsolicited communication via phone, WhatsApp, email, text etc and assume a scam unless you can be convinced otherwise.
Please be wary of #KeylessIgnition car thefts on #HaylingIsland. These may be prevented by keeping your keyfob in a #FaradayCage ie RFID pouch or metal tin, but make sure you can't open the car when it is in a Faraday Cage when next to your car.
A reminder that the #HaylingHerald will be delivered to residents this month. This excellent local newspaper can also be read by all at haylingherald.co.uk There are some photos of the flooding at #Beachlands. We do need proper sea defences.

The sea is overtopping the WestBeach shingle sea defences, but it is generally holding. #HaylingIsland. @HavantBorough should have repaired our revetments, rather than remove them to protect Islanders. #StormEunice
