I commend Johnny Weir for taking the high road here. With apologies to Adam Rippon fans, I was very disappointed that Adam fueled this controversy with his response. It was uncalled for.
Why is North America cut off from wonderful skating tours like this one? And then we wonder why the US has no Olympic champions. Pro skating is dead here, save for Stars on Ice. And international skaters, by and large, are never included in SOI. Very sad. #FigureSkating

USFS reports that Jason Brown has decided not to attend the World Championships in Milan. Max Aaron has been named as the replacement for Adam Rippon. Maia and Alex Shibutani are also not going to Worlds. Kaitlin Hawayek and Jean-Luc Baker will take their place.
