Really like an extra heavy bat for cleaning up bat drag. Helps tighten up the upper body and keep the elbow from getting too far in front of the hands Use a donut and put a roll of tape on the end of the bat Cue the hitter to hit LDs up the middle Simple and effective

This phenomenon is what happens when you try to teach kids moves that big leaguers are making. One of the biggest misconceptions is that you should pattern movement as early as possible based on what big leaguers are doing. Big leaguers went through an entire process in their…

Seems to me just taking a couple steps and setting up closer to where you expect the ball to go would make more sense. And Ian Happs well below average range despite above average speed would agree

🚨 Left-Field Positioning Tip • LHH: Angle your body to the line. "Oppo flare" • RHH: Angle your body to the gap. "Hard gapper" ⭐️ Expecting the most likely outcome w/ your body & mind will take away more hits than you give up. Think aggressively before the ball is thrown.

Rapid fire band rotations The increased force required to stop and immediate reverse the bands rotation back forward, makes this an excellent exercise for golfers or any rotational athlete

I like this version for baseball players bc it keeps your head in line with your belt buckle like in the swing… too often with scoop tosses the head leans forward over the front hip and you aren’t rotating as much or in the same position as you would in the baseballs swing

Looking for ways to increase your rotational power. Try the backhand MB toss. If you have a radar gun to measure speed it can help track progress. I suggest using 2-6 lb med balls. Lighter is good, so you can focus on maximum speed. 3-5 reps, with 100% effort on each one

Stop the hips to let the barrel whip through the ball
