Very proud of all the Covid research we’ve managed to do in the last few months thanks to our adapted methods and of course the incredible commitment of our twins to health research.

Got a great buzz going to work today starting on our Twins vs Covid study where we will be tracking our 14000 UK twins and doing rapid testing to understand why some asymptomatic. Support so far amazing ! But will need funds! @TwinsUKres @KingsCollegeLon @GSTTnhs @NIHRresearch

We’re coming for you, #COVID19. Proud to work for @TwinsUKres and help in the fight against COVID19 - never did I think I’d be working to set up urgent studies of this kind.

Some positive news- ! just heard that our research funders have offered us pilot funds to rapidly use our amazing 11000 Twin volunteers nationwide and database to help fight the #covid19UK epidemic - more to follow @TwinsUKres @NIHRresearch #CDRF @GSTTnhs

Great to be a part of this APPG. Looking forward to sharing our research with MPs, Lords &Ladies and other members in the next months.

Our comms&engagement manager @SciencePaz is headed to Westminster to join the @appgmicrobiome meeting on the human microbiome and how it affects health. Key research interest for us @TwinsUKres and a very short yet scenic trip from our dept based in St Thomas’ Hospital @gsttnhs

Great to present on our work to other longitudinal studies.

Our Engagement & Communcations Manager @SciencePaz just presented on our strategies to reduce attrition and boost participant engagement. It’s been a great day of sharing tips and learning from lots of different longitudinal cohort studies @CLOSER_UK #CLOSERconf
