A fresh round of cuts in mortgage rates has been announced by ten lenders, which some say is due to the Bank of England's Funding for Lending Scheme.

Santander SVR mortgage rate to rise to 4.74%
Santander has written to several hundred thousand mortgage customers to tell them their standard variable mortgage rate will rise to 4.74% from 4.24%.
Santander is also increasing its SVR Cap Margin - the max amount above BoE base rate that it can charge - from 3.75 to 4.99% from 24 Sept
