NFL teams that receive the ball 1st are 7-2-1.I'd argue they should be 9-1 pretty easily. 10 min goes fast. 1st drive has been 5+ min on avg. Not much time/room to go win it. The move is to take the ball 1st but teams who win the toss keep deferring. Wonder when they'll catch on?

So, BYU was penalized for getting blown out in its conference championship game (dropped one spot). Which allowed Miami to move up and get compared directly to Notre Dame. But Alabama was not penalized for getting blown out in its conference championship game.

Wow these NT/Tulane officials are terrible. I don’t know how you can say that wasn’t a touch back. Also, terrible miss on fair catch interference earlier that led to a TD.
Look, UNT has not played well in this game and deserves to be down by multiple scores, but that is now 14 points that have been directly gifted to Tulane by the officials. Very clearly a fumble and touchback on that play, and the missed kick catch interference in the first half.
I have no allegiance to either team but I truly believe if the refs don't botch the missed kick catch interference tonight right before half that N Texas has a good chance of winning the game. & That's not even considering they gave Tulane on a TD on what shudda been TO

Correct me if I’m wrong but doesn’t the Big 12 pool all the bowl revenue after paying for the team expenses and divide it among the members equally? I know the SEC does. I respect the decision but I think you should forfeit your access to bowl payouts if you opt out.
