Delivering the new computing curriculum to primary schools through hands on programming, sensors, motors and microcontrollers.
Hi. We are also running a new one on Saturday morning in South Bank at Southland Methodist Church. You can learn programming, robotics, text coding and much more. 9.30 - 11am. Starts in a few weeks and there are 6 places left!!
This is the early stages of an Arduino controlled model railway set. It's controlled by Scratch4Arduino - and was inspired by my recent work at the National Railway Museum @railwaymuseum youtube.com/watch?v=dQe32t…

Arduino controlled model railway using Scratch4Arduino
What a great week. 15 workshops delivered at the National Railway Museum encouraging children to program electronics using Snap4Arduino. @railwaymuseum @arduino @moenig
Some great countdowns today using Snap4Arduino and 7 segment displays @railwaymuseum youtube.com/watch?v=4RSnT1…

Coding a 7 segment display at the National Railway Museum
Great day coding at the National railway museum. @railwaymuseum Some future programmers maybe?
Looking forward to more coding workshops @railwaymuseum tomorrow. It's been great fun seeing children teach the adults and the problem solving involved.
The WonderLab at the National Railway Museum @railwaymuseum sounds very exciting. Just spent the day at Bradford @mediamuseum and loved the Wonder Lab there. Inspired to make an Arduino controlled wave machine. #arduino #coding
We are very much enjoying our collaboration with the National Railway Museum @railwaymuseum using Arduino @arduino to code a space countdown. Hopefully we've inspired some future electrical engineers and programmers. Looking forward to the rest of the week. #spacecodettes
Are you going to be at the National Rail Museum in York at February half term? We are running a coding workshop with them to celebrate Tim Peake's Soyuz spacecraft being on display there. Full details at nrm.org.uk/planavisit/eve…
Love the Arduino. Just need to buy some bigger robots.
Year 6 have been using text coding to make their robots work using 'arduino' @ScratchMyPi . Fantastic work
Great fun doing switches, sensors and Sonic Pi @LongMarstonCEP and @MonkFrystonSch Joystick games this week
Some great projects. Nice to have met people
Home automation and aircraft tracking with @Raspberry_Pi and sparkles with @arduino. Never a dull moment at #rjam 👍 #Leeds

Great afternoon using iteration to increase character size and color @scratch @LongMarstonCEP
Well, Y5/6 will be learning to count this afternoon with a computer!! Using iteration. #python #scratchmypi
Great afternoon using RGB LEDs and the @Arduino to teach variables and sequences @MonkFrystonSch this afternoon.
Great fun doing iteration today. Or making Scratch count to 1000 really quickly. Next week - iteration with servos. And RGB LEDs
Looking forward to an afternoon of robot wars balloon partying - balloons and robots fighting :)
