A hymn of Saint John Psaltes (+600), the abbot of the Monastery of Qenneshrin, on the Himyarite Martyrs of Najran and their leader Saint Harith (Arethas), with reference to the forty martyrs of Sebaste:
"Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount." (Hebrews 8:5)
The quotes in the video are about the Neo-Platonic idea that physical objects are shadows and representations of the world of the forms. Absolutely nothing to do with iconography. Also the Dyonisius corpus is not first century.
The Prophet Moses is in Heaven before the Throne of God, and can intercede for us if we pray to him. The Saints of the Old Testament were great men and women of God, and Moses is at least among the greatest. Link to Akathist below. 1/2
