I know I’m already a Liberal MP, but after hearing this Poilievre speech can I, like, double join the Liberal party?
What can we say about this Conservative motion? Some stuff already done, some other stuff Canadians rejected. The motion reflects a party frozen in time. Almost as though the Leader of the Opposition found it in a jacket he hasn't worn since last March. ipolitics.ca/2026/01/27/con…

The same people complaining about Carney going to China for a trade deal are the same people who are begging for a new pipeline out to the coast of B.C. to sell oil to *checks notes* China

This aged well.
One thing I’ve observed in my short time in Parliament is the worse the Poilievre Conservatives are doing, the louder they get in question period. And they are very, very loud today.
Gee, I wonder where he was. x.com/robertfife/sta…
Why is Mark Carney never in question period, he’s in Ottawa today and he’s still not there. @MarkJCarney why are you hiding from Pierre? We know you are in Ottawa, show up and debate.
This tweet is doing exactly zero to rebut the charge you guys are playing stupid games and don't care about the consequences. x.com/coreyhoganyyc/…
The Conservative pipeline motion is an unserious stunt that tries to score points at the expense of our nation. A yes vote could undermine consultation. A no vote could undermine confidence. Canada loses either way.
The MOU: Good for economy. Creates positive investment environment, removes risk. Good for environment. Durable accord on an effective carbon price far above what it is in AB today (25 → 130), investments in green grids. Good for diversifying trade from US. And - popular.

🚨WATCH: "Look, the carbon price is not our biggest problem right now. It adds, you know, ten, twenty dollars per tonne of steel to our production cost." - Michael Garcia, CEO of Algoma Steel What do you have to say to that, @PierrePoilievre? #cdnpoli @PnPCBC
Wow. Today on @PnPCBC, Algoma Steel president Michael Garcia delivered a pretty catastrophic blow to the head of Poilievre and his Cons, stating that the industrial carbon tax not only isn’t destructive; it oppositely ends up being *beneficial* for his industry.
In January, Canada was facing the likelihood of a Conservative government that would undo every climate action from the last ten years. Today, thanks to Mark Carney, not only do we continue to have strong industrial pricing, methane regs and investment in green tech, we have an…
I’m shocked by the fact that I quite like the MOU deal with Alberta - it is good on both policy and political grounds, and it is an acknowledgement of reality in this country of the kind we haven’t had a government willing to do in decades It’s a good deal. Genuinely —>
“This MOU is firmly in the national interest, it’s firmly right for Carney to implement, and I’m not particularly convinced there’s any argument against it. The deal isn’t perfect, but we don’t live in an ideal world. Well done, Carney.”

You dodged a debate with me in the riding you used to represent.
