Just made my first #EscapeRoom and played around with video editing for the first time in about 17 years! Good day 😍
We've just heard that Brian Trueman has died age 92. He will be most remember for his work at Cosgrove Hall, like Dangermouse, Count Duckula and Chorlton. In the 90s he helped with "Truckers" or Thomas the tank engine

The fragility of life is so shocking. I’ve known Michael Mosley for many years - as a tv producer specialising in science and medicine. He was the executive producer of my 2009 series Human Journey. When he started presenting as well as producing, we made several science…

So to summarise, the Prime Minister, who wants to force young people to spend an entire year of their lives serving their country, wouldn't even devote a full afternoon to it himself bylinetimes.com/2024/06/07/ris…
Dear Students. The Conservative Party have been attempting to suppress your ability to vote, mainly because they know most of you cannot stand them. Apathy is a big issue, please do something about it, register to vote, get your ID sorted, show the Tories how you feel. Ta 🩷
I have just voted in the @NEUnion preliminary #PayUp ballot! @GillianKeegan if this Government won't save our schools and colleges, we will. #InvestInEducation Vote now at 👉neuactivate.com

I have just emailed staff with the message below - any Ofsted call will be met with a request for a deferral.

Hi parents, You may have seen the government talking about schools offering “minimum service levels” during strike days. I can assure you that we have been offering “minimum service level” standards to you and your children every day since we became an Academy. Thanks x
Do you know what’s also damaging to children? Ridiculous amounts of supply Masses of teachers leaving Lack of funding for SEND & special schools Overstretched mental health services Unqualified staff teaching GCSE Huge Ofsted pressure Cost of living But yep those 6 strike days 🙄
Last year, school strikes resulted in 25 million school days being lost cumulatively. Children should not have to suffer a repeat of this disruption. I’m announcing that we will introduce minimum service levels in schools so that pupils get the education they need and deserve.
Oh so kind! It was such a privilege creating these posters! We had to reach out to request permission to use images from computer scientists and their families for those who are not with us anymore. Highlighting contributions is always a joy!
#Computing teachers: It's #BlackHistoryMonth2023 and if you haven't seen @janewaite's brilliant set of downloadable posters yet you really should check them out: teachinglondoncomputing.org/2023/09/25/bla… #CASChat

Anybody who knew what it meant for people’s livelihoods, businesses, families, freedoms and rights was distressed. Anybody who understood and cared, knew that 17.4m had - mostly unwittingly and due to lies - voted to harm themselves and worse, to harm others.

All I'll say is Gillian seemed very stressed when I saw her on sky news this morning. I think educators do a good job every day. That's why I think they should be: - Paid fairly - Have manageable workloads - Work in buildings that aren't crumbling
Education Secretary Gillian Keegan is upset nobody is giving her praise for DOING HER JOB while others "sit on their arses" doing nothing about the collapse-prone RAAC concrete in schools.
Teachers we got to add air traffic control to the list of things to do today 🤣🤣 🤣🤣😭🤣
Not that I'm convinced Braverman doesn't get her brief, but at 0:56 she assures us that engineers are working with the *Department for Education* to resolve the issue with #airtrafficcontrol
