Last year, school strikes resulted in 25 million school days being lost cumulatively. Children should not have to suffer a repeat of this disruption. Iโm announcing that we will introduce minimum service levels in schools so that pupils get the education they need and deserve.

All I'll say is Gillian seemed very stressed when I saw her on sky news this morning. I think educators do a good job every day. That's why I think they should be: - Paid fairly - Have manageable workloads - Work in buildings that aren't crumbling
