My current project at work (creating documentation to explain what my code does line by line for clients... don't ask) would be a lot less depressing and unmotivating if I had a buddy to pair program/document with. This feels like the adult equivalent of being sent to the corner.
I think as soon as it’s safe to do so, we need to have overnight slumber/LAN parties with our friends. Also we should make it an annual tradition!
